About preorders: For about a 10% deposit ($15) you will help us get going again by building our list of potential customers. Your info will only be saved on this secure site and it will only be used to contact you when we are ready to print the maps and complete your order. At that time we will ask for the remaining payment of $135 (if you already paid $25 than your remaining balance will only be $125). Of course, if you change your mind for any reason we will refund you, no questions asked. Otherwise look for an email soon.
About ESC-FL-SOU: I developed this ESC while living in Tampa. It is for residents of south Florida heading north. To go farther north than West Palm Beach they will have to either go west toward Tampa or east toward Ft. Pierce. Then they would have to choose from adjoining ESCs (ESC-FL-WST) or (ESC-FL-EST). More specifically, the five 1:250,000 scale maps for this ESC are titled Key West, Miami, West Palm, Tampa, and Ft. Pierce.
An ESC is not just a set of beautiful topographic maps printed on heavy duty, waterproof material. It is a survival guide for emergency situations and planning purposes. Each one is customized for the area it covers.
